Dr. Tanja Doslov graduated from the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine in Belgrade, Serbia. After graduation, she worked in a rural mixed animal practice where she treated an array of domestic animals. Together with her husband (fellow veterinarian), she decided to immigrate to Canada where she continued pursuing her childhood dream. After completing the licensing program in Canada, she started working in a small animal practices in the Lower Mainland. Dr. Doslov’s approach to veterinary medicine (as it is to the life itself) is based on that old saying of “an ounce of prevention, is worth a pound of cure”. So as much as she enjoys all fields of veterinary medicine and all of the species coming through the door of Kennedy Heights Animal and Bird Hospital, she puts an emphasis on the prevention medicine and the client education. Dr. Doslov lives in Port Moody with her husband, their three sons, adorable terrier named Ruby and two bunnies named Spunky and Arrow. When she is not at work, Dr. Doslov can be seen all of the Lower Mainland, going wherever the role of a diligent mother calls her.
